Bob and Carol Alton
Lindy's parents originally hale from Iowa, but have happily made their home in Mankato, Minn. since the mid-90s. However, during the winter they now escape the frozen tundra in favor of Vero Beach, Fla. A retired telephone executive, Bob is now an avid angler and semi-pro singer-guitarist. Carol is a former English teacher and rarely loses at Scrabble. Both parents have privately told Lindy she's their favorite child.
Don and Lynn Dille
Don and Lynn met, and later birthed Ian, in Berkeley, Calif. They now reside in Alexandria, Va.. Don is a retired federal employee and photography enthusiast with a penchant for world travel. Lynn loves trying out new cooking recipes, and is a social studies teacher at T.C. Williams High School (made famous by Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans). They'll tell most anyone that Ian was not an easy child.
